MEMORABLE MATCHES OF THE YEAR

1.16.04 - As the new XCW TV Champ, I had the chance to hold 2 singles titles; John Allen would not lose his belt without a dogged fight. Outside interference caused the match to end, but it was a great experience going against another champion.

1.30.04 - Each of us drew from our backgrounds of lucha, martial arts, technical wrestling, and brawling in order to produce a classic match. Respect was showed and earned by me and Aldo, and by the crowd in attendance.

4.17.04 - On this day, I referred to myself as "The Black Stan Lane." The soft-spoken southpaw and I made a formidable team, and it was a pleasure spending time in the ring with someone I've only dreamed of wrestling with.

4.18.04 - Both of these Sunday shows featured my foot forcing blood to come out of the noses of both of my opponents; Deacon was victim to a front kick while Mr. Shai received what has been since called "The Seth Kick."

6.18.04 - My first match to the state capitol pitted my trainer and I against a cohesive tag team. The action was as hot as the arena, and the crowd was livid, booing me and Joey while supporting the local homeboys.

7.23 thru 7.25.04 - This was the first weekend where I truly felt like a wrestler; traveling from state to state and wrestling 3 different opponents on 3 different nights.

8.6.04 - It's fun going up against Joey because the matches are always fast-paced and entertaining, and he always challenges me to perform at my highest level.

9.18.04 - In my first match against J.T., I learned why he was regarded as a nifty wrestler. I always feel a bit uneasy whenever I wrestle someone for the first time, but J.T. & I have similar styles, and the match we had reflected that.

9.24.04 - My first & only cage match to date pitted me against a relative newcomer to the ring, but he fought and battled me as though we've been bitter enemies for years. Several of the scrapes and bruises I have on my arm, above my eye, and on my back came from this match.

11.12.04 - Going against 2 Texas hardcore icons is never easy; doing it in a tag team title match makes it even tougher because they will do ANYTHING to win the belts. Despite their efforts, we retained the belts, but not without a snot-loosening fight.
